The pattern depicts autumnal fruits from the Vale of Evesham not far from the original factory in Worcester. Evesham Gold is a very practical tableware and cookware range which is equally suited to fine dining or for casual informal everyday dining. The new Evesham Gold produced by Portmeirion has the added practicality of a Gold band that can be in the microwave oven - please note the original UK made ware is not microwave oven safe. Since the sad demise of the Royal Worcester factory in 2009, Portmeirion Potteries have purchased the rights to the Royal Worcester brand. These Evesham Gold Cream Jugs are outsourced and manufactured in a high quality porcelain china factory in Asia to the original Royal Worcester specifications. The appearance and quality is as near as possible to the original style and you would be very hard pressed to notice any difference.
